A well-rounded college experience includes exploring and learning outside the classroom. Schoolcraft College offers more than 20 student-run clubs and organizations for you to explore your interests and passions – or find new ones.
Students are encouraged to participate in college-sponsored extracurricular activities for their personal enrichment and growth. This may look like organizing college clubs and groups that provide developmental experiences for their members, services to the campus and community, and engaging in opportunities to interact with a variety of people. If you are interested in starting a club that is not already established, please stop by the Student Activities Office to get started.
The Student Activities Office and Student Center are located in the lower level of the Waterman section of the Vistatech Center. The Student Center is the location of most club meetings on campus. There is a lounge area where students can come between classes to study or relax and spend time with friends. The Center includes:
- a movie area with a large screen TV and huge selection of movies
- free video game area with X-Box gaming systems
- ping pong, pool and foose ball tables
- fresh popcorn from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday during fall and winter semesters
